BLIND NOT DEAD: The Nameless Lord
Book, Music, Lyrics by Ella Sodam Yoon

Blind Not Dead is an immersive musical led by a blind female protagonist, Irae. Exhausted by a society that shuts her out, Irae confronts a mysterious alchemist who promises to restore her eyesight on one condition: travel back in time and fulfill his mission. (finding the real name of Nameless lord)
When she wakes up in ancient Korea, she discovers a marketplace where disabled people offer their disabilities as valuable services. Soon, she realizes these villagers are not from the past but travelers from her own time, manipulated by the same alchemist. Irae fights to return home, but the villagers refuse; the past offers them a dignity they never received in the modern world. Yet, the alchemist’s promises are a sugarcoated trap. His mission is impossible to be fulfilled and ultimately he consumes the villagers. Now Irae must decide: dismantle the alchemist’s oppressive system or respect the villagers’ right to stay in the world where they finally feel they belong.
